VILLETTA MAROLI is the fruit of travel and friendship.
Based in Amsterdam, we closely collaborate with independent farmers and creatives from all over the world. Together we produce cellos, ice cold Italian fruit liqueurs.
OUR STORY
Villetta Maroli was founded in tribute to our
grandfather's bold imagination and taste for life. In
the 1970s, the Dutch adventurer decides to build a self-sufficient
farm in Italy, after falling in love
with the land's stunning nature, pure cuisine and kind people.
The farm flourishes and it becomes a place of exceptional hospitality, where family and friends gather to enjoy the good life. Here we taste our first Limoncello and develop our unique family recipe.
ITALIAN SLOW FOOD
At Villetta Maroli we take our time.
In fact, we share the values of the international Slow Food Movement
that started in Italy in the
1980s to defend regional traditions, gastronomic pleasure and a slow
pace of life.
Slow Food philosophy is based on three interconnected principles:
- Good: quality, flavorsome and healthy food
- Clean: production that does not harm the environment
- Fair: accessible prizes for consumers and fair conditions and pay for producers

SUSTAINABILITY
Our cellos are sustainable cellos. We directly source our fruit from independent organic farmers. We avoid intermediaries ensuring our fruit travels short, stays fresh, and goes directly from the groves into our bottles.
Our farmers work on a small scale and in a sustainable manner. They don't use pesticides, minimize emissions and stimulate biodiversity.
